Raising Money for Burning Man Arts
Burning Man’s Artumnal Gathering was a one of Burning Man Arts fundraising campaigns. The Artumnal was a lavish event, perhaps best described as Burner formal. The spirit and contribution matched that of the desert event as the Artumnal raised thousands of dollars to help artists bring art to it. For 2019 and 2018 Artumnals we created two original sculptures that were auctioned with all proceeds to Burning Man Arts.
Our 2019 sculpture was Penny Bee, a penny covered version of our 2019 Burning Man bee. Fiercely auctioned for $9,500.
For the 2018 Artumnal we created Ursa Dreamer, a nod to the famous 2005 Burning Man installation called Playa Dreamer. We built this half bear head as a fund raiser for Burning Man Arts which auctioned for $10,500.
